Overview
Join nature photographer Matt Cornish and qualified wildlife biologist and teacher Jodie Creek, who has more than 20 years of experience, on a 10-day, nine-night expedition through some of Tasmania's most photogenic landscapes. Designed for photographers of all levels, the tour combines field tuition, wildlife opportunities, workshops and image-review sessions, with the itinerary paced around the best available light and photographic conditions.
Travel from Hobart through Bruny Island, Mount Field and the Central Highlands to Cradle Mountain, finishing in Devonport. The group is limited to six guests so there is time for personal guidance and creative development.

Itinerary
Arrive in Hobart and settle into your centrally located hotel before meeting the group for a welcome dinner and tour briefing.
Travel to Bruny Island, photographing coastal views and rugged landscapes on the way to Bruny Island Escapes, positioned for wildlife encounters and golden-light shooting.
Spend the day with Inala Nature Tours photographing endemic birdlife and diverse habitat, then return to Bruny Island Escapes for another evening on the island.
Return to the mainland for expansive views from kunanyi/Mt Wellington before continuing to Mount Field Retreat at the edge of Mount Field National Park.
Photograph ancient rainforest, giant trees and waterfalls, with time for long exposures and creative compositions before a second night at Mount Field Retreat.
Travel into the Central Highlands and settle into Thousand Lakes Lodge, surrounded by open alpine plains and remote wilderness.
Use the remote highland environment for workshops, wildlife encounters, field practice and image-review sessions, with a second night at Thousand Lakes Lodge.
Travel to Cradle Mountain with scenic photography stops, explore the alpine region and check in to Cradle Mountain Hotel.
Begin with a Dove Lake sunrise shoot, then spend the day photographing wildlife and dramatic mountain scenery before returning to Cradle Mountain Hotel.
Travel to Devonport via the Tasmanian Arboretum for a chance to photograph platypus in the wild. The tour concludes in Devonport, with an optional return to Hobart.
