  • Itinerary 

    Day 1 – Hobart & kunanyi / Mt Wellington 

    Begin in nipaluna / Hobart with a guided walking experience through the historic waterfront and city centre. Gain insight into Tasmania’s colonial past and modern culture before heading to the summit of kunanyi / Mt Wellington for sweeping views over the city and beyond. In the evening, join your guide and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at one of Hobart's local restaurants. 


    Day 2 – Salamanca & MONA 

    Spend the morning exploring the vibrant Salamanca Market, one of Australia’s most celebrated outdoor markets, offering local produce, artisan goods, and a lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit MONA, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest privately owned museum. Travel by ferry and enjoy the experience at your own pace before returning to Hobart. 


    Day 3 - Tasman Peninsula & Coal River Valley 

    Travel to turrakana / Tasman Peninsula to visit Port Arthur Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed location. Learn about Australia’s convict history and take in the dramatic coastal setting, including a harbour cruise. In the afternoon, head to the Coal River Valley for a hosted wine tasting and lunch at a premium vineyard, showcasing cool-climate wines and local produce. 


    Day 4 - Farm Gate & Wilderness 

    Enjoy an authentic farm experience at a sixth-generation working property. Watch sheep dogs in action, learn about sustainable farming practices, and take in the rural landscape. Continue to Russell Falls, one of Tasmania’s most photographed waterfalls, located within Mount Field National Park. Later, visit a renowned wildlife sanctuary before returning to Hobart. 


    Day 5 - Richmond & East Coast 

    Visit the historic township of Richmond, home to one of Australia’s oldest bridges and a collection of well-preserved colonial buildings. Travel along the Great Eastern Drive to Wineglass Bay, one of Tasmania’s most iconic coastal views. Take in the scenery from the lookout before continuing north to Launceston. 


    Day 6 - Cradle Mountain 

    Journey inland to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, with stops at a local berry farm and the colourful Sheffield. At Cradle Mountain, walk the Dove Lake Circuit and experience one of Tasmania’s most recognisable alpine landscapes. 


    Day 7 - Launceston & Departure 

    Explore Cataract Gorge on a guided cultural walking experience led by a local historian. Following free time for lunch, your tour concludes with drop-off at Launceston Airport.
